Where to Report:
- VRE Lot B behind the railroad tracks between Caroline and Sophia St.
- Fredericksburg VRE Park and Ride Lot B
- Please ensure you check in with your volunteer lead when you arrive
- Volunteer shirts can be obtained at the FARC information booth or at Packet Pick-up prior to the race
Where to Park:
- VRE Lot G near the corner of Frederick and Prince Edward St
- VRE external lot
- This does require a little over a 3 block walk, but since it is located outside the street closures it will enable you to leave much easier after your shift
- Alternatively, you may park anywhere else you’d like just be aware of parking restrictions and signs

Duties:
- Vendor Arrival and Setup
- Vendors should arrive and setup between 6 and 6:45am on race day
- Help set out signs to indicate where vendors will set up in the Finish Festival Area
- Guide vendors to their appropriate location
- Assist vendors with unloading vehicles, putting up tents, etc…
- Ensure vendors understand that after they unload vehicles they need to be moved out of the Finish Festival area by 6:45am with the exception of the below
- DJ
- FARC
- My Plumber
- Pop Pop’s
- Vendors should be placed as listed in the map below
Vendors will be instructed to arrive along these routes to the Sophia side of the Finish Festival
Vendors will be instructed to display the below parking pass so they can easily be identified
Vendors should be instructed to leave on Sophia St and either head to the City Docks or turn right onto Frederick St and head to VRE Lot G.
- Hanging sponsor signs
- The Fredericksburg Orthodontics sign should be hung from the right side of the Hilldrup trailer using the step ladder
- 2 Dick’s Sporting Goods Banners should be hung from the center and left side using a step ladder
- Other sponsor banners should be hung from the fence along Sophia St near the exit of the Finish Festival
- Race Signage
- The Info tent feather flag needs to be setup and placed near the FARC booth
- The A frame sign with the race schedule should be set up near the FARC booth
- Finish Festival Tables
- 2 tables should be placed on the stage for awards
- 1 table should be placed in the FARC booth
- Trash cans
- 3 cardboard trash cans should be placed as indicated on the Finish Festival diagram. One near the porta-jons, one by the Sophia exit, and the last one near the Carolline exit
